Four years ago, it was also the month of December, when a day-night test match was played between India and Australia in Adelaide. This was the same test in which the Indian team was all out for just 36 runs in the second innings and Australia won the match. Now even in December 2024, the condition of Indian batting did not change in front of the pink ball at the Adelaide Oval ground.

After bowling out Australia in the first innings, the Indian team's batting was very poor in the second innings. The opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul failed and could not give the team a strong start. First Rahul was out, who was sent to the pavilion by Cummins on a score of seven runs. Then Boland gave a double blow to India by dismissing Yashasvi (24) and Virat Kohli (11). Shubman Gill also could not convert the good start into a big innings and was bowled by Starc on a score of 28 runs. Captain Rohit Sharma's poor form continued in the second innings as well, who returned to the pavilion after scoring six runs off Cummins' ball.
