Australia vs India Pink-Ball Test Day 1 Review: Australia Trail by 94 Runs

Australia vs India 2nd Test Match: The second match of the 5-match Test series between Australia cricket team and Indian team is being played at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide from 06 December (Friday). By the end of the first day's play, Australia scored 86 runs in 33 overs for the loss of 1 wicket in the first innings, due to which they are only 94 runs behind Team India. The team's opening batsman Usman Khawaja scored 13 runs in 35 balls, but lost his wicket to the accurate bowling of Jasprit Bumrah. Nathan McSweeney (38*) and Marnus Labuschagne (20*) formed a partnership while handling the innings.

In this second Test match, Team India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. After winning the toss in the second Test, Team India came out to bat first and the start of the first innings was disappointing and opener Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to the pavilion without opening the account. After this, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill together handled the innings. In the first innings, the entire Indian team was reduced to 180 runs in 44.1 overs. Young all-rounder Nitish Reddy played the highest innings of 42 runs for Team India. Apart from Nitish Reddy, KL Rahul scored 37 runs.
