South Africa has announced their squad for the India Series, with many new faces.
South Africa has announced their teams for the multi-format home series against India, which begins on December 10th.

The tour begins with three T20Is, followed by the same number of ODIs and two Tests, which will be part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
Temba Bavuma and Kagiso Rabada have been rested for the ODI part of the tour and will return for the Tests. Aiden Markram, who is captaining the Proteas in T20Is, will also captain them in ODIs in Bavuma's absence.
To prepare for the red-ball leg, Gerald Coetzee, Marco Jansen, and Lungi Ngidi will play first-class matches for their respective local sides instead of playing in the last T20I and ODI series.
Rob Walter, the head coach of limited overs, stated, "We want to capitalize on that momentum and continue building on our core group during this Freedom Series after an excellent overall showing at the recently concluded ICC Men's Cricket World Cup."
"We have a busy summer ahead of us, starting with T20Is and then ODIs against India, so we have decided to rest several of our senior players." This decision was made in collaboration with coach Shukri because we want to focus on the red-ball leg of the tour, which means they will be preparing for the Test series by playing domestic cricket. However, the transfer has created opportunities for others who have been playing well at home to be recruited in."
Three players have received their first international call-ups: all-rounder Mihlali Mpongwana, batter David Bedingham, and fast bowler Nandre Burger.
Mpongwana was named to the ODI team after a strong CSA Division 1 One-Day Cup campaign, while Bedingham was included to the Test squad.
Burger, 28, has been picked to all three squads after a stellar domestic season.
