Shardul, who performs the best in all three formats for India, has a good experience of IPL. The LSG will start its IPL 2025 campaign against Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam on Monday, 24 March.

Shardul Thakur has been part of the IPL since 2015 and has represented 5 teams so far. He played for Chennai Super Kings last season and took only 5 wickets in 9 matches. He was then released by Chennai before the mega auction last year. In the mega auction, no team bid Shardul and he remained unsold. Now LSG has associated him with the debut of IPL. Shardul, playing 95 matches in the IPL, has taken 307 runs with the bat and bowling 67 wickets in 61 matches. He took 21 wickets in the 2021 IPL season.
