Key Stats
19.6 Tom Curran to Usman Shinwari
Tom Curran to Usman Shinwari. Length ball, middle stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to long on for 1 run, fielded by Denly. Sydney Sixers have secured victory by 33 runs over Melbourne Renegades at Marvel Stadium. On a tacky surface and with a slow outfield, it was difficult to know what a decent score would be, however the 7-132 made by the men in magenta proved to be more than enough. The Renegades got off to a decent start in the chase, but once debutant Mackenzie Harvey was dismissed by a beauty from fellow debutant Ben Manenti it was all downhill for the hosts. Manenti scooped the player of the match award thanks to his parsimonious spell of offspin that strangled the Renegades batsmen through the middle overs. Tom Curran also had a fine day for the visitors, snaffling 7-132 to go with his swashbuckling 23 in the first innings. The BBL action returns tomorrow in Tasmania as the Hurricanes host the Scorchers.

19.1 Tom Curran to Cameron Boyce
OUT! Caught. Tom Curran to Cameron Boyce. Full toss, outside off stump moves in front flick, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Silk. This certainly isn't the greatest delivery Curran will ever bowl but he'll take the end result. Boyce can't quite get the desired connection on the full toss and Silk tumbles to take it with a big smile.
