Key Stats
29.3 Rangana Herath to Taijul Islam
OUT! Caught. Rangana Herath to Taijul Islam. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the front foot slog sweeping, well timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Gunathilaka. Taken in the deep, what a catch to finish off the match. Sri Lanka go wild, they win the series 1-0. That was an extraordinary phase of play, Bangladesh completely capitulated for the second time in the match. Sri Lanka have stormed to a massive victory in the Second Test against Bangladesh to win the series 1-0. A second batting collapse in the match, inspired by an incredible spell from debutant Akila Dananjaya, saw the hosts lose their last six wickets for just 23 runs. It was never going to be easy chasing more than 300 on a wicket offering prodigious turn, but Bangladesh folded meekly in the face of quality spin bowling. Rangana Herath chipped in with four wickets, becoming the most successful left-arm bowler in the history of Test cricket. Roshen Silva deserves plenty of plaudits as well, he made a classy half century in each innings with conditions really tough for batting. Next up in this series is two T20Is, starting on Thursday at this same ground.

Over 30. 5 runs. Bowler: Rangana Herath. Bangladesh: 10-123(rr 4.10)
29.2 Rangana Herath to Taijul Islam
FOUR! Rangana Herath to Taijul Islam. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the front foot reverse sweeping, well timed past third man for 4 runs. Cheeky, Taijul unfurls a tasty reverse sweep. It's a good ploy with the ball turning as much as it is.
29.1 Rangana Herath to Mustafizur Rahman
Rangana Herath to Mustafizur Rahman. Stock ball half volley, outside off stump on the front foot slog sweeping, missed to short fine leg for 1 run, mis-fielded by Dickwella.
