ICC T20 World Cup 2026: The full schedule for next year's ICC T20 World Cup has been announced. The first match will be played on February 7, 2026, and the final will be held on March 8. Twenty teams are participating in this tournament, with India as the defending champion. India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group for this World Cup, with their first clash taking place on February 15. All 20 teams playing in the World Cup have been divided into four groups, each consisting of five teams.
The entire tournament will be played across eight venues, five of which will be in India and three in Sri Lanka. The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai), Arun Jaitley Stadium (New Delhi), Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), Eden Gardens (Kolkata) R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo), Sinhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground (Colombo) and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (Kandy) are the full list of host venues.
Team India will begin its journey in the T20 World Cup 2026 with a match against the USA on February 7th. This match will be played in Mumbai. This will be followed by a clash against Namibia in Delhi on February 12th. India and Pakistan will face each other in Colombo, Sri Lanka on February 15th. Team India will play their final group stage match against the Netherlands on February 18th.

Group C: England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Italy, Nepal
Group D: South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada, UAE.
A total of 40 group matches will be played between February 7-20, with the top two sides from each group then progressing to the Super Eights phase of the tournament that commences on February 21.
The top four sides at the completion of the Super Eights qualify for the knockout stages of the event, with semi-finals to be held in Kolkata/Colombo and Mumbai ahead of the title decider on March 8 in Ahmedabad/Colombo.
