TATA Women’s Premier League 2026: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the Women's Premier League 2026 schedule on Saturday, November 29th. The fourth season of the WPL will be played from January 9th to February 5th. The matches will be held in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara. The season opener will be played in Navi Mumbai, where Mumbai Indians (MI) will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). A total of 11 matches will be played in the Navi Mumbai leg, which runs from January 9th to 17th.
The league will then shift to Vadodara, where the remaining 11 matches, including the playoffs, will be played. The first match of the Vadodara leg will be between Gujarat Giants (GG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore. This will be followed by a clash between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians, a rematch of the 2025 final.
League matches will continue until February 1st, after which there will be a one-day break. The eliminator will be held on February 3rd, and the final on February 5th. The table topper will advance directly to the final, where they will face the winner of the eliminator. The eliminator matches will be played between the second and third-placed teams in the table.
Mumbai Indians are the defending champions of the WPL, having won two titles in the three seasons played so far. Royal Challengers Bangalore have won the title once, while Delhi Capitals have finished runner-up in all three seasons. Gujarat Giants and UP Warriors (UPW) have yet to reach the final.
A total of 277 players were available for auction for the Women's Premier League 2026, including 194 Indians and 83 foreign players. Of these, only 67 players were purchased by teams, 23 of whom were foreign players. Franchises spent a total of ₹40.8 crore on players.

The Indian women's team will begin their tour of Australia 10 days after the WPL concludes. The tour will run from February 15th to March 9th. The Indian women's team will play three ODIs, three T20 Internationals, and one Test match during their tour.
