Rising Stars Asia Cup Semi-Finals: The Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 concluded a thrilling group stage, and the tournament has now entered the knockout stage. After three league matches each, the four semifinalists have been determined: India A, Pakistan A, Sri Lanka A, and Bangladesh A. The two semifinal matches will be played on November 21st, with India facing Bangladesh and Pakistan facing Sri Lanka.
In Group A, Bangladesh A and Sri Lanka A qualified for the semi-finals. Bangladesh won two of their three matches to earn four points and advance on the basis of net run rate. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, performed strongly, winning two of their three matches and topping the group.
Afghanistan A finished on equal points with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in Group A, but was eliminated from the semi-final race due to a poor net run rate. Hong Kong lost all three of its matches and was eliminated from the tournament without a win.
On the other hand in Group B, Pakistan A performed strongly, winning all three matches and securing a direct berth in the semifinals. Pakistan finished first in the group with six points. India A won two of their three matches and finished second with four points, advancing to the semifinals.
Oman won one match but failed to advance, while the UAE remained winless and was eliminated from the tournament early.
Talking about India's performance India A started the tournament with a bang. They crushed UAE by 148 runs in the first match, making a strong start. However, Pakistan A dealt a major blow to India by defeating them by 8 wickets in the second match. Despite this, the team secured a place in the semi-finals by defeating Oman by 6 wickets in the final league match.

India is now expected to put up a strong performance in the semi-final against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are also ready to put in all their efforts to move closer to the title.
Winning teams from both semi-finals will face each other in the final to be played in Doha on November 23.
