The IMD has also predicted light showers for the first two days of the match. In contrast, AccuWeather has forecasted thundershowers in the afternoon of Thursday, with an 82 per cent chance of rain.
Additionally, the incoming sleet could potentially disrupt the last Test of the series. Although days two, three, and four will likely have sunshine, there are chances of rain returning on March 11.
Dharamsala Pitch Report :
Unlike the earlier four Tests in this series, captain winning the toss may be tempted to bowl first to utilize overcast conditions on day one of the match in Dharamsala.
Such conditions are expected to assist swing bowlers including veteran James Anderson. However, a report in Indian Express says that India are most likely to opt for a slow turner instead of a green-top wicket. It was also shared that the curators will prepare the final pitch only after a talk with the team management. Currently, due to unpredictable rain, curators have not been able to work on the pitch.
