Samit Dravid was Released from India U-19 Squad: Former India head coach Rahul Dravid's son Samit was received his maiden India U-19 call-up for the upcoming multi-format series against Australia at home in the month of September and October. But now Samit was suddenly released from the team. No reason was given. Speculations have started about Dravid son's exclusion.

India U-19 team is playing one day series against Australia U-19 team. Fans were hoping to see Samit from the beginning. It didn't happen. Samit did not get a chance in either of the two matches.

Looking at the Indian team, it is seen that Samit is not in the team. He has been replaced by Rohit Rajawat. He was only in the test team but now he has got a place in the white ball team as well.

Samit did not bowl in the Maharaja Cup T20 competition. It is not clear if he has any injury or lack of fitness. The board is also unresponsive. No one has given an official answer. As a result, there has been confusion about the non-play of the association. He can both bat and ball. Questions have arisen as to why an all-rounder like him was left out of the team.

Although Samit will not be able to play in the U-19 World Cup despite getting a chance in the U-19 team. He will turn 20 in 2025. Age will be 21 at the time of 2026 U-19 World Cup. As a result, he will not play in that competition in any way. Samith has not yet made his debut in domestic cricket for Karnataka.

A three-match ODI series is being played between India vs Australia U-19 team. The first match was played on 21 September where Team India won by seven wickets on the back of an unbroken stand of 153 runs by KP Karthikeya (85*) and captain Mohammed Aman (58*). The second first match was played on 23 September. India U-19 team won this match by 9 wickets.
