Ravi  Ashwin to play 100 Test matches for India: Ashwin joined the prestigious list of players who have played 100 Test matches or more for India. The list includes Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar, Sourav Ganguly, Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma, Harbhajan Singh and Cheteshwar Pujara.

Ravichandran Ashwin has become the oldest player of India to achieve this feat. He is playing his 100th Test at the age of 37 years and 172 days.

R Ashwin 100th Test: Ashwin will become the 14th Indian player to play 100 test matches and he will be the 77th player in the world to achieve this milestone.

Ravichandran Ashwin gets a special Test cap as a special memento and also received guard of honour on his 100th Test match in Dharamsala.

Ashwin will be only the fifth bowler in India's 92-year Test history to play 100 or more Tests. Before Ashwin, Anil Kumble, Kapil Dev, Ishant Sharma and Harbhajan Singh have achieved this feat.

Apart from Ashwin, this will also be the 100th Test match of England batsman Jonny Bairstow. He will become the 17th English player to play 100 Tests.

The last match of the five-match Test series between India and England will be played in Dharamsala from March 7. India is leading 3-1 in the series. India will try to end this series by winning the last match. At the same time, England would like to bid farewell with victory.
