Bangladesh ODI captain Tamim Iqbal has expressed his dissatisfaction with his team's inability to visit England and Australia more frequently. Bangladesh has not played an international series in England since 2010, when they played two Tests and three ODIs in the European country. Tamim achieved centuries in both Test matches at Lord's and Old Trafford, despite Bangladesh losing both times. Bangladesh's most recent bilateral visit to Australia was a three-match One-Day International series in 2008. Meanwhile, they will play two Tests in Australia in 2027.

They are not, however, scheduled to play a bilateral series against England on English territory anytime soon. Tamim remembered his knock against England in the two Tests in 2010 while speaking to the UK's Daily Mirror. He stated that scoring a century in England was a difficult challenge and that he will cherish that memory for the rest of his life. The 33-year-old also stated that his team would like to visit Australia and England more frequently. "That's a long way off now, 2010," I say. But those innings will live with me forever.

A hundred in England is difficult, particularly for a team like ours. "The memories are something that, when I'm done with cricket, I'll keep in my heart forever," Tamim told the UK's Daily Mirror. "Those two are very special to me, but the most important thing is that you people should invite us more often.

Unfortunately, that was the last time we performed there. Bangladesh is now in a position where we should visit Australia and England more frequently, and I'm not sure why that isn't happening. It's been 13 years since we last visited England. It's truly a shame that we haven't toured again after performing so well, particularly in white-ball cricket," he added. Bangladesh will play a game of England in 2023.

England will stage a bilateral series between Bangladesh and Ireland. Bangladesh will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against Ireland in the concluding round of the ICC Super League. The contests are scheduled to take place in Chelmsford in May.

Bangladesh will welcome Ireland in a three-match One-Day International series beginning on Saturday, March 18. The other two ODIs are planned for March 20 and March 23, with all three games taking place at Sylhet District Stadium.
