New Zealand Squads for ODI Series against Pakistan: After gaining an unassailable lead in the ongoing five-match T20 series against Pakistan, New Zealand has announced its squad for the upcoming ODIs. Tom Latham will captain the team in this three-match ODI series, while white-ball captain Mitchell Santner has not been included. Out of the 13-member squad announced, there are eight players who are also part of New Zealand's ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 team. Apart from this, some new faces have also been given place in the team, which will maintain the balance of the team.

Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips and Santner all missed out, given their IPL commitments, while veteran Kane Williamson was unavailable for selection.

Top-order batter Nick Kelly has earned his maiden call-up after scoring 749 runs in the Plunket Shield which included four hundreds. Daryl Mitchell, Mark Chapman and Will O'Rourke will be key members of the New Zealand side with bowling all-rounder Nathan Smith returning to the fold for the ODIs.

New Zealand has given a chance to a player of Indian and Pakistani origin for this series. Uncapped Pakistani Mohammad Abbas and Indian-origin Aditya Ashok have been included in the Kiwi team. Abbas was successful in attracting the attention of the selectors due to his excellent performance in domestic cricket.
