India Women vs Australia Women: The Indian women's cricket team is scheduled to tour Australia in February-March, playing matches in all three formats. The tour will include three ODIs, three T20s, and one Test match. The Indian squads for the T20 and ODI series have been announced. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the team in both series, with Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain. The Indian team, which won the Women's World Cup last year, aims to win a white-ball series in Australia for the first time.
Young players Vaishnavi Sharma, G Kamalini, and Kashvee Gautam have been included in the Indian team for the ODI series. These three players were not part of the team that won the World Cup last year. Meanwhile, Uma Chetry, Yastika Bhatia, and Pratika Rawal have not made it into the ODI squad.
In the WPL 2026, UP's batter Harleen Deol has been making waves. She scored a blistering fifty against Mumbai, single-handedly leading UP to their first victory. However, she has now been dropped from the T20 team. Harleen's name does appear in the ODI squad, though. In the T20 team, Bharti Fulmali has made a comeback in place of Harleen.
Meanwhile, only two changes have been made to the Indian women's team for the T20 series. Shreyanka Patil has been included in the squad in place of Harleen Deol. Bharti Fulmali has also made a comeback to the team, having last played a T20 match for the Indian women's team in 2019.
