India vs South Africa 1st ODI Match: Team India, which suffered a crushing defeat in the Test series against South Africa, made a strong start to the ODI series, winning the first match. In the first ODI played in Ranchi, Team India posted a mammoth total of 349 runs, aided by Virat Kohli's brilliant and record-breaking century. In reply Indian bowlers restricted South Africa to 332 runs. India won by 17 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
