Team India Squad for SA Tour and BGT Trophy: The senior selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the team for India's tour of South Africa and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia late on Friday night. India's T20I team is set to play a four-match T20 series against South Africa and the first match will be played in Durban on November 8. After this, India's tour of Australia will begin. The Indian team has also been announced for the five-match Test series to be played under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is very important in terms of the World Test Championship.

Karnataka fast bowler Vijaykumar Vyshak and Punjab batsman Ramandeep Singh have been included for the T20 series against South Africa while fast bowler Mayank Yadav has been injured again. He is in the 'Centre of Excellence' for rehabilitation. And all rounder Riyan Parag was unavailable for selection, he is currently at the BCCI Centre of Excellence for long term resolution of his chronic right shoulder injury.

Indian team's South Africa tour schedule

1. November 8: First T20, Durban

2. November 10: Second T20, Gqebarha

3. November 13: Third T20, Centurion

4. November 15: Fourth T20, Johannesburg.

Mohammed Shami is not in the squad for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia while Kuldeep Yadav has been advised long-term rehabilitation for his back injury. Axar Patel has been dropped from the squad selected for the New Zealand series. Washington Sundar, who took 11 wickets in the ongoing Test in Pune, has been included in the squad.

Abhimanyu Easwaran has been included as the backup opener for the Australia tour. At the same time, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has made a surprise entry. Delhi pacer Harshit Rana and Andhra allrounder Nitish Reddy have found their maiden names in the Rohit Sharma-led 18-member Indian squad for the five-Test series against Australia. All-rounder Axar Patel has also not got a place in the Indian team.
