IPL 2025 Players Retention: The excitement of fans for IPL 2025 is at its peak, because today i.e. on Thursday, all the 10 franchises have announced the players to be retained and released. The IPL Governing Council had set October 31 as the deadline for franchises to submit their list of retained players.

Full Details of Retained Players by All 10 Teams

1) Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings has retained five players. In which Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ravindra Jadeja have been given Rs 18-18 crore. Mathish Pathirana has been retained for Rs 13 crores. Shivam Dubey was retained for Rs 12 crores. Dhoni was retained for Rs 4 crore.

2) Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians have retained 5 players which include Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Tilak Verma. The maximum amount of Rs 18 crore has been given to Jasprit Bumrah. Suryakumar Yadav was retained for Rs 16.35 crore. Hardik Pandya was also retained for Rs 16.35 crore. Rohit Sharma was retained for Rs 16.30 crore. Tilak Verma has been retained for 8 crores.

3) Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders have taken a surprising decision and released their captain Shreyas Iyer. KKR has retained 6 players out of which Rinku Singh has received the highest amount of Rs 13 crore. Varun Chakraborty and Sunil Narine have been retained for Rs 12 crore each. Andre Russell has been retained for Rs 12 crores and Harshit Rana-Ramandeep Singh for Rs 4 crores each.

4) Royal Challengers Bangaluru

Royal Challengers Bangaluru surprised everyone by retaining only 3 players. RCB retained Virat Kohli the highest for Rs 21 crore. Rajat Patidar was retained for 11 crores and Yash Dayal was retained for 5 crores. RCB did not retain its captain Faf du Plessis. Maxwell has also been released.

5) Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals have retained 6 players. In which captain Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal have been retained for Rs 18-18 crore. Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel have been retained for Rs 14 crore each. Shimron Hetmyer has been retained for 11 crores. Sandeep Sharma retained for Rs 4 crore. The team has released both Yuzvendra Chahal and Ashwin.

6) Gujrat Titans

Gujarat Titans have retained Rashid Khan for Rs 18 crores. Whereas captain Shubman Gill has been retained for Rs 16.5 crores. Sai Sudarshan has been retained for Rs 8.5 crore. Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan have been retained for Rs 4 crore each.

7) Punjub Kings

Punjab Kings have retained 2 players. Shashank Singh has been retained for Rs 5.5 crore, Prabhsimran Singh for Rs 4 crore.

8) Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad has retained five players, out of which Heinrich Klaasen will remain in the team for Rs 23 crore. Captain Pat Cummins has been retained for Rs 18 crores. Abhishek Sharma retained for 14 crores. Travis Head has also received Rs 14 crore. Nitish Reddy has received Rs 6 crore.


9) Lucknow Super Giants

Lucknow Supergiants did not retain their captain KL Rahul. Nicholas Puran has received the highest amount of Rs 21 crore. Ravi Bishnoi and Mayank Yadav have been retained for Rs 11 crore each. Mohsin Khan, Ayush Badhoni were retained for Rs 4 crore each.

10) Delhi Capitals

Delhi team has given the maximum amount of Rs 16.50 crore to Akshar Patel. Kuldeep Yadav will get Rs 13.25 crore. Tristan Stubbs has been retained for Rs 10 crores. Abhishek Porel has been retained for Rs 4 crore. Whereas Delhi Capitals has not retained Captain Rishabh Pant.
