They destroyed the top and middle order after a decent start from the Hurricanes and secure a victory that puts them back in the mix at the top end of the table. Buttler and Watson starred with the bat, and although they couldn't push on, a good finish gave them a score that left them plenty to bowl at. Doolan and Archer provided the only resistence against the Thunder side, but with nobody to support them at the other end, it was always a challenge and in the end, it proved far too much.
