Pakistan vs England Test Series: The England team will soon tour Pakistan for a 3-Test series. On Tuesday, Pakistan Cricket Board announced a 15-member team for the first test of the series. The first test will be played in Multan from 7 to 11 October. This series is part of the World Test Championship 2023-25.

Shan Masood has been made the captain of the team. Saud Shakeel has got the responsibility of vice-captain. Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has returned to Pakistan's 15-member team. Afridi was dropped from the second and final Test against Bangladesh earlier this month due to poor form.

37-year-old spinner Noman Ali has returned to the team for the first Test match against England. He did not get a chance in the series against Bangladesh. He has replaced Khurram Shahzad, who is injured. The Pakistani team recently lost the Test series against Bangladesh by 0-2.

In the Bangladesh series Abrar Ahmed had failed to perform well for Pakistan. On the other hand, Noman has taken 47 wickets in 15 test matches so far. Whereas Kamran Ghulam and Mohammad Ali, who performed well in domestic cricket, have not been selected in the team.

Pakistan Test team coach Jason Gillespie said that with a busy domestic and international cricket schedule, it makes sense to give our players some much-needed rest ahead of the Test series against England. We are looking forward to the series against England and can't wait for it to start. We are excited to play in front of our amazing fans.
