New Zealand Won the 3rd Test Match and Clean Sweept India in the Series by 3-0
New Zealand defeated India by 25 runs in the Mumbai Test to win the three-match Test series 3-0. New Zealand became the first team to defeat India 3–0 in India.
New Zealand Beat India in 3rd Test and Won the Series by 3-0: The result of the third Test match between India and New Zealand was decided in the second session of the third day. This was a big blow for India at home, as this was the first time India suffered a clean sweep in a Test series of 3 or more matches. Earlier, the Blackcaps had won the Test matches in Bengaluru and Pune by 8 wickets and 113 runs respectively.
After winning the toss and batting first, New Zealand scored 235 runs in their first innings. In reply, India's first innings ended at 263 runs. India got a lead of 28 runs. In reply, New Zealand's second innings ended at 174 runs and they gained a total lead of 146 runs. India had a target of 147 runs, but the Indian team was all out at 121 runs.
For India, Rishabh Pant scored the highest 64 runs in the second innings, while for New Zealand, Ajaz Patel took six wickets.

With this victory, New Zealand's team has whitewashed India in the three match test series. This is the second time that India has been clean swept in a two or more match test series at home. Earlier in February 2000, South Africa had defeated India 2-0 in a two match series. At the same time, this is the first time that India has been clean swept in a three or more match test series at home.

With five wins in Australia, India can at best finish on 158 points with a points PCT of 69.29.
