Gujarat Titans assistant coach Parthiv Patel feels Jason Holder’s all-around performances with the bat as well as with the ball have boosted the team’s overall performance. Patel feels the 34-year-old’s experience has helped the team in crunch situations and added balance to the squad.

The all-rounder didn’t play in the previous six games of the ongoing season but has become a vital contributor with the ball as well as with the bat. Parthiv Patel added that the West Indian all-rounder’s inclusion has boosted the team's strength in both departments. Before the RR and GT match, Parthiv said that the 34-year-old can be a crucial finisher with his batting, as he can attack the opposition bowlers.

Parthiv stated that Holder's calm temperament and his ability to read the match situations are quite amazing. Parthiv stated that the all-rounder can adapt to different conditions quickly, which adds stability to the bowling department.

Gujarat Titans beat RR at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, by 77 runs on the 9th of May. GT scored 229/4 in 20 overs while RR were bowled out for 152 in 16.3 overs. Holder registered figures of 3/12 in 2.3 overs.

 GT are currently at the 2nd position in the points table with 14 points, winning 7 out of 11 games so far. Holder has so far scored 47 runs in 5 IPL games this season, while he has claimed 10 wickets in 5 IPL games this season, with best bowling figures of 4/24.
