India Beat Bangladesh by 86 Runs in Second T20I: India defeated Bangladesh by 86 runs in a match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on the basis of a strong performance of the bowlers after the batsmen. Batting first, India scored 221 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs with the help of brilliant half centuries from Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh. In reply, Bangladesh's team could only score 135 runs for nine wickets in the stipulated overs. With this, India has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match T20 series.

Earlier in the match after winning the toss Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto decided to bowl first. The Indian team, which came to bat first, did not have a good start. The team lost the wickets of both the openers in just three overs. Sanju Samson was out after scoring 10 runs and Abhishek 15 runs. Captain Suryakumar Yadav could score only eight runs. After this, there was a partnership of 108 runs for the fourth wicket between Rinku and Nitish. Nitish was out after scoring 74 runs in 34 balls. Rinku Singh scored 53 runs in 29 balls.

Thanks to half centuries from Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh, India scored 221 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Apart from them Riyan Parag scored 15 runs in 6 balls, Hardik scored 32 runs in 19 balls and Varun returned to the pavilion without opening his account. Arshdeep contributed 6 runs.

Arshdeep gave the first blow to Bangladesh team chasing the target of 222 runs. Iman was dismissed after scoring 16 runs in 12 balls. Captain Nazmul Shanto could score only 11 runs. Liton Das could score 14 runs in 11 balls. Tauheed returned to the pavilion after scoring 2 runs in 6 balls. Zaker Ali scored one run. Rishhad could score only 9 runs. Tanjim scored 8 and Mahmudullah scored 41 runs. Seven bowlers bowled from India's side and all got wickets. Nitish and Varun got 2-2 wickets.

In the end Bangladesh team could score only 135 runs after losing nine wickets. Under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian team has won the third T20 series. Earlier, it had defeated Australia and Sri Lanka.

Youngstar Nitish Kumar Reddy won the Player of the Match award for his overall all-rounding performance, 74 runs of 34 balls and took 2 wickets with ball.
