Rishabh Pant May Leave Delhi Capitals: A big update has come out regarding Team India's wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant. Rishabh Pant may part ways with Delhi Capitals in the upcoming IPL. Pant is the player who has played the most matches and scored runs for Delhi. 

According to a report in Dainik Jagran, the Delhi franchise is not happy with Pant and is still mulling over the decision of retaining the star cricketer. As per available information, the franchise may also consider trading the wicketkeeper-batsman, but former Indian captain and DC Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly is in favor of continuing with Pant as captain.

Will Pant Join CSK?
Reports say that if Rishabh Pant leaves Delhi Capitals, then Chennai Super Kings can include him in their team. Questions are constantly being raised about the future of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and he can take retirement any time. In such a situation, Chennai team will need a good wicketkeeper batsman, who can replace Dhoni. In such a situation, he will have no better option than Pant.

A CSK official has hinted that if MS Dhoni decides to bid farewell to his IPL career, the franchise is considering signing a top Indian wicketkeeper as his replacement. The 43-year-old Dhoni is the most capped player in IPL history and there is a strong possibility that he will not feature in the IPL 2025 edition.

Rishabh Pant's IPL Career
26-year-old Rishabh Pant made his IPL debut in 2016 while playing for Delhi Capitals. Since then till now he is a part of Delhi only. Pant has played a total of 111 matches in the IPL from 2016 to 2024, in which he has scored 3284 runs while batting at a strike rate of 148. 1 century and 18 half-centuries have been seen with his bat in IPL. Let us tell you that Rishabh Pant also has good experience of captaincy. He has also taken Delhi Capitals to the playoffs under his captaincy in 2021.
