Some Expensive Players who Still didn't get a Chance to play in TATA IPL 2024

In the Indian Premier League, not only lakhs but crores of bets are placed on the players. In IPL 2024, players worth more than Rs 20 crore are showing their talent. But do you know that there are such players in this IPL who have got contracts worth more than Rs 7 crore, but are not getting a place in the playing eleven. Similarly, there are many players who have been dropped from the playing eleven after being given a chance in just one match. These players are now forced to sit on the bench.

These Players are :

1. Rilee Rossouw (PBKS) :
Rilee Rossow, who was sold for Rs 8 crores, has not got a chance to play even a single match till now. 34 year old Rilee Rossouw is currently a member of Punjab Kings team. Riley Rossow is a South African cricketer.

2. Shahrukh Khan (GT)
Gujarat Titans bought Shahrukh Khan for Rs 7.40 crore in IPL auction. Shahrukh is the fifth most expensive player of his team. But despite paying such a huge price, Gujarat Titans have not given much chance to Shahrukh Khan. He was given a place in the playing eleven in only one match (vs Rajasthan Royals), in which he scored 14 runs.

3. Moeen Ali (CSK) :
England's Moeen Ali is also among those players who have got a chance to play only one match in IPL 2024. Chennai Super Kings included him in the playing eleven against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Moeen Ali took advantage of this and took 2 wickets for his team. However, his turn to bat never came. Chennai Super Kings bought Moeen Ali for Rs 8 crore.

4. Rovman Powell (RR) :
West Indies' Rovman Powell also got a lot of money in the IPL auction, but he also got the chance to take the field only once. Rajasthan Royals had bought Rovman Powell for Rs 7.40 crore, but he is not getting a place in the playing eleven.

5. Kumar Kushagra (DC)
Delhi Capitals bought Kumar Kushagra for Rs 7.20 crore in the IPL auction. Kushagra is the fourth most expensive player of Delhi Capitals. Despite this huge price, Kumar Kushagra has not got many opportunities. He got a chance in only one match (against Mumbai), in which he could not scored any run.

The condition of 4-5 players who were sold for more than Rs 10 crore in the auction held for IPL 2024 is also poor. Royal Challengers Bangalore had placed a big bet on Cameron Green (17.50 crore) and Alzarri Joseph (11.50 crore), but due to not perform up to the expectations, they have dropped both of them from the playing eleven.

Chennai Super Kings' Daryl Mitchell (14 crores) is also in danger of being out of the playing eleven. Glenn Maxwell, worth Rs 11 crore, has been able to score only 32 runs in 6 matches in the tournament and it should not be a surprise if he is seen sitting on the bench in the next match.
