IND-W Beat PAK-W: India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the first match of Women's Asia Cup. Batting first, Nida Dar's team scored 108 runs in 19.2 overs. In reply, Harmanpreet Kaur scored 109 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 14.1 overs. The Indians lost several wickets while rushing for no reason at the end.

Like Babar Azam's, Nida's team looked helpless against India. India picked up an easy win in the spirit of playing like a practice match. The Indian team went into bat with a target of 109 runs to win. The first wicket partnership of Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma put on 85 runs in 9.3 overs. The victory of the Indian team was confirmed by that. Smriti scored 45 runs off 31 balls. 9 fours came from his bat. Shefali made 40 off 29 balls. Hit 6 fours and 1 six.
