Tanush Kotian added to India’s Test Squad: Mumbai off-spin allrounder Tanush Kotian has been called up to join the Indian team ahead of the Boxing Day Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starting in Melbourne on Thursday. Kotian, who is currently representing Mumbai in the league stage matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Ahmedabad, will leave for Australia on Tuesday afternoon, sources have said.

Kotian has been selected in the Indian team in place of Ravichandran Ashwin after his recent retirement after the Brisbane Test. 26-year-old Kotian has made his place in the Indian team by consistently performing well in domestic cricket.

According to a report by Sportstar, BCCI may send Tanush Kotian to Melbourne for the Australia tour. He plays for Mumbai. Tanush is a spin bowling all-rounder.
