IND vs ENG Test: 'Don't want to say much, ' Rohit Sharma wants Yashasvi Jaiswal to prosper without the burden of expectations.

Rohit Sharma led India to a historic victory over England at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. The hosts defeated the Three Lions by 434 runs, recording the largest Test victory in cricket history.

The visitors scored 122 runs while chasing 557, thanks to a fifer by Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Yashasvi Jaiswal was instrumental in the victory, scoring twice as many runs. Indian captain Rohit Sharma was overjoyed with Team India's victory and added that everytime we play Test cricket, the team must be prepared for the entire five days.

Rohit said that England performed well and put the hosts under strain, but the Indian skipper hailed the Indian bowlers, saying they are full of quality. Rohit Sharma stated, "When you play Test cricket, it does not last 2-3 days. We understand the significance of playing for five days. They performed effectively and put us under strain.

We had class in our bowling; the message was to remain calm, and I'm quite proud of how we came back the next day. When those things happen, it's a pleasure." Rohit Sharma also praised rookie Sarfaraz Khan. Rohit added that we wanted Sarfaraz to spend time at the crease, so the squad could see what he was capable of with the bat.

Speaking about the batting order, he explained that it is a long-term strategy and that they always consider the opposition and their bowling attack. Sharma also discussed elevating Ravindra Jadeja to number five and the importance of winning the toss. Rohit Sharma stated, "For this game, we thought he has so much experience and so many runs; we wanted that left-right combo, and Sarfaraz, with his quality, we wanted him to have time." We've seen what he can accomplish with the bat.

It's not a long-term approach; we go with the flow and what we feel on that given day, taking into account the opponent and the bowling attack. We compute everything and then follow the flow. There were many turning points; it was a good toss to win; we know how vital it is in India to win the toss, and we were pleased with how we recovered and bowled after that onslaught." Speaking about his bowlers, Rohit Sharma stated that they had a lot of character and emphasized that the team did not have its most experienced bowler.

He also praised Ravindra Jadeja for his efforts with the ball in the second innings. In conclusion, he lauded Yashasvi Jaiswal, stating that he has previously spoken highly of him. He stated that Jaiswal has begun his career on a positive note and that he hopes to see him succeed in the future. Rohit Sharma remarked, "The bowlers showed a lot of character, and we didn't have our most experienced bowler either.

With the bat, we knew we were halfway there; those two young players gave us the advantage we needed, and Jadeja's bowling in the second innings was outstanding.[about Jaiswal] I've spoken a lot about him in Vizag, as have those outside the changeroom. I don't want to say too much about him; he's off to a terrific start in his career, and I hope he keeps it up. He appears to be a good player. The fourth Test of the series will be contested in Ranchi's JSCA Stadium.
