Came for batting first two openers Mayank Agarwal and Travis Head scored 11 runs in the first over. Together they scored 34 runs partnership. 

Despite scoring 56 runs in the power play, none of the Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen could play a big innings. In the scores of 58 runs Afghanistan Spinner Noor Ahmad bold out Travis Head who had made a stormy fifty in the previous match. Then Proteas batsman Heinrich Klaasen also returned shortly after giving glimpses of the storm. He was the victim of Rashid Khan by scoring 24 runs off just 13 balls with one four and two sixes.

In the end of the innings Shahbaz Ahmed and Abdul Samad played short innings. Shahbaz Ahmed scored 22 runs with one four and six from 20 balls. Sunrisers Hyderabad crossed the target of 160 runs by Abdul Samad's stormy innings. In the end their collection stood at 162 runs for 8 wickets. Abdul Samad played a stormy innings of 29 runs off 14 balls with three fours and one six.

In response to the target of 163 runs the opening pair of Gujarat Titans Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha scored 36 runs partnership. Saha became the victim of Shahbaz Ahmed by scoring 25 runs in 13 balls with one four and two sixes.

Then Shubman Gill led Gujarat's innings with Sai Sudarshan. Gill was the victim of Markand's personal 36 runs in the team's 74 runs. Before getting out, he played an innings of 36 runs with two fours and a six off 28 balls.

Then Sai Sudarshan took Gujarat close to the victory with David Miller. Sai Sudharsan out at his scored of 45 runs with 36 ball by SRH captain Pat Cummins.

Then in the end David Miller and Vijay Shankar finished the job for Gujarat Titans.
