India U-19 Women Beat Bangladesh in the Final of U19 Women’s Asia Cup: The Indian women's Under-19 cricket team has won the title by defeating Bangladesh by 41 runs in the final of the Under 19 Asia Cup 2024. In the final played on Sunday, the Indian team defended the score of 117 runs and bundled out Bangladesh for 76 runs in 18.3 overs. Earlier, the Bangladesh men's cricket team had defeated the Indian men's team in the Under 19 Asia Cup final and now the Indian women have avenged that defeat.

India lost the toss and batted first and scored 117 runs for 7 wickets with the help of Trisha's half century and then the Indian team, while defending the score of 117 runs, bowled out Bangladesh for 76 runs in 18.3 overs. For Bangladesh, Juiria Firdaus scored the highest 22 runs and Fahomida Choya scored 18 runs.

The Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly and defended the modest score. For India, Ayushi Shukla took three wickets and Parunika Sisodia and Sonam Yadav took two wickets each. Apart from them, V Joshida took one wicket.

In this tournament being held for the first time, the Indian women's under-19 team has remained undefeated so far. After winning two matches in the group stage, Team India made it to the finals by defeating Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the Super-8 and Sri Lanka by 4 wickets in the Super-4.

Earlier, the Indian women's under-19 team scored 117 runs for 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. G Trisha played a brilliant half-century innings for the Indian team. She scored 52 runs in 47 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes. Apart from her, Mithila Vinod scored 17, captain Nikki Prasad scored 12 and Aayushi Shukla scored 10 runs.

For the Bangladesh women's under-19 team, Farzana Ismin took the maximum of four wickets. Apart from her, Nishita Akhtar took two and Habiba Islam got one success.
