BCCI Announced 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh. After the completion of the Test series, India will play three T20Is at Gwalior, New Delhi and Hyderabad.
Team India's Squad for T20I Series against Bangladesh: After the Test series, India will play three matches T20I series against Bangladesh. BCCI announced the team for that series. KKR spinner Varun Chakaravarthy got a call to the national team after a long time. Apart from this, Mayank Yadav has been called up to the national team for the first time.
Suryakumar Yadav's captaincy remains intact. Hardik Pandya is also present in the team, but no player has been made the vice-captain. The name of Rishabh Pant, who was part of the T20 World Cup winning team, is missing out in this squad.
Three spinners have been included in the Indian team in the form of Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakraborty and Washington Sundar. No one has any doubt about Sundar's batting. He has played many match-winning innings for RCB in the IPL. Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana and new face Mayank Yadav will have the responsibility of fast bowling. Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dubey and Nitish Kumar Reddy do medium pace bowling along with explosive batting.
For the wicket keeping role the selectors have expressed confidence in Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma. Both players will be under pressure to prove themselves as Rishabh Pant is currently India’s first wicketkeeper.
None of the players from Test team was picked for T20. All young cricketers like Shubman Gill, Yasswi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant have been rested. A completely new team has been selected for the T20I series.

Mayank Yadav's Maiden Call-up
Mayank Yadav, who surprised the whole world with his stormy speed in IPL 2024, has also been selected in the Indian team for the first time. Mayank Yadav became the topic of discussion in the entire cricket world by bowling at a speed of 156.7 km/h against RCB in IPL this year. When it seemed that he would soon wear the jersey of Team India, he got injured. However, now he is fully fit once again and is ready to spread his magic.
