Key Stats

OUT! Caught. Marcus Stoinis to Mohammed Shami. Slower length ball, off stump on the front foot Slog, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Maxwell. Deceived by a good slower ball. Shami sends a high ball into the deep and Maxwell makes it look very simple. Australia start 2019 with an ODI win which didn't happen much last year. The start they made with the ball was what really did the damage. Restricting India to 4-3 with the danger-men back in the shed, but Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni didn't give up easy. A very good partnership of 137 brought them into the game but it was always going to be a tough ask, especially when Dhoni fell and the run-rate increased. Onto the next game on the 15th where India will look to tie up the series.
