Rahul Dravid as Rajasthan Royals Head Coach: According to sources, Rahul Dravid can sit in the chair vacated by Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara in Rajasthan Royals. The former Sri Lankan captain is set to change his address. The England and Wales Cricket Board wanted Sangakkara as England's white-ball coach. Matthew Mott stepped down as England coach last month. As a result, that gap has not yet been filled. Sources say that Sangakkara will go to that place. In other words, Sangakkara is going to be England's coach in white ball cricket.

Rajasthan Royals, the champions of the inaugural season of the IPL in 2008, do not have a head coach as former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara serves as the Director of Cricket since 2021 while Shane Bond and Trevor Penny are the assistant coaches.

As a result Rahul Dravid can be seen in Rajasthan Royals. Dravid has led Rajasthan Royals in the past. After stepping down from international cricket, he was seen in the role of Rajasthan's mentor. In response, Dravid said, "The Test series against South Africa was the worst time. That was early in my coaching career. I won the first test. We had never won a Test series in South Africa before that. That was the opportunity. But South Africa bounced back in the next two Tests. In the end we have to lose.”

Dravid said he learned a lot from that series despite losing. That education helped him later. The former India coach said, “I learned a lot from that series. You can't always win.
