The hardest bowler I have faced is Pat Cummins: Cheteshwar Pujara

One of the most aggressive batters in contemporary cricket is Cheteshwar Pujara. The Saurashtra batsman enjoys batting, and when he is in the zone, it is challenging for the opposition to remove him from the game. Anger is a trait that one might not typically connect with Pujara, a hitter noted for his cool demeanour and patience both on and off the field.

The Saurashtra hitter did, however, mention something that really incenses him. Given Pujara's well-known hunger for high hundreds and runs, losing his wicket infuriates him more than anything else. In a recent interview with ESPNcricinfo, Pujara was questioned about his sources of rage. "When I get out, that's when I'm the angriest," the batter retorted.

I am able to regulate my emotions, but when I leave, I am at most angstiest. When asked to identify his finest performance in the longest format of the game, Pujara cited his 92-run performance against Australia in the Bengaluru Test of 2017. In addition, Pujara mentioned that he would have liked to have batted with Brain Lara and that Glenn McGrath is a former bowler he would like to face.

The right-hander named Australian Pat Cummins as the toughest bowler he had ever encountered when asked who it was. Notably, the forthcoming four-match Test series between India and Australia that begins in February in India will pit Pujara and Cummins against one another once more.

For India, the series is crucial since a win would assure them a berth in the World Test Championship Final. The World Test Championship is anticipated to take place at the Oval during the first week of June, while the exact dates have not yet been determined.
